Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026. This explains what personal data 10:10 Family Clinic & Therapeutic Services Ltd collects through this website, why, and how it is kept safe.

1. Who we are

10:10 Family Clinic & Therapeutic Services Ltd (“10:10”, “we”, “us”) is a Nigerian company offering play therapy, family and couples therapy, family health care, multidisciplinary child assessment, and professional training. This policy covers the website at 10-10family.com and the booking and contact forms on it.

RC Number 9830956 (Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria). Registered office: No. 8, Dangana Street, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

2. What we collect

We only collect what is needed to respond to you, book an assessment, or process a booking payment.

  • Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), the service you are asking about, and your message.
  • Assessment booking: for each child, their full name, date of birth, sex, the reason for the visit, previous therapy or diagnosis, relevant medical or developmental history, and your answers to the screening questionnaire (about communication, motor and sensory skills, learning and behaviour, emotions and attachment, and growth and development). For the parent or guardian: name, phone number and email.
  • Payment: if you pay online, your payment is handled entirely by Paystack or OPay; we never see or store your card, bank or OPay wallet details. We keep a record of the amount paid, the date, and a payment reference.
  • Bank transfer: if you tell us you have paid by direct transfer, we keep the note you give us (e.g. a transfer reference or time) so we can match it against our bank records.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking scripts on this website.

3. Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

  • To answer your enquiry and communicate with you (your consent in submitting the form).
  • To carry out the screening questionnaire and recommend the right professionals for your child (necessary to provide the service you have requested).
  • To process payment for a booked assessment (necessary to perform our contract with you).
  • To book, confirm and remind you of an appointment.
  • To keep clinical and financial records we are required to keep as a healthcare provider in Nigeria.

Where we rely on your consent, such as sharing sensitive information about your child in the questionnaire, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, though this may affect our ability to complete an assessment already in progress.

4. Children's information

Our assessment questionnaire asks about a child, completed by their parent or guardian, not by the child. We treat this information with particular care: it is used only to recommend the right specialists and to prepare for the appointment, and it is shared only with the professionals directly involved in that child's care and, where legally required, with regulators or courts.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the following, each of whom processes it only to provide their service to us:

  • Paystack and OPay, to process online payments.
  • Resend, to deliver confirmation and notification emails.
  • Google Calendar, to schedule and remind you of appointments.
  • Vercel, who host this website and its underlying infrastructure.
  • Our own clinical and administrative staff, on a need-to-know basis.

We may also disclose information where required by Nigerian law, or to protect the safety of a child or another person.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking, clinical and payment records for as long as we are required to under Nigerian healthcare and tax record-keeping rules, and for as long as needed to provide ongoing care. A booking claimed as paid by bank transfer but never confirmed is kept only long enough to verify or resolve it, then deleted if the payment is not confirmed. You can ask us to delete other information at any time, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.

7. Keeping your information safe

Data submitted through this website travels over an encrypted connection. Payment details are never handled by us directly; they go straight to Paystack or OPay, both licensed Nigerian payment processors. Access to booking and clinical information is limited to staff who need it to do their work.

8. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you or your child, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligations), and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, can be sent to 10familyclinic@gmail.com or by phone on 08102903701.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date at the top will always show when. If changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page.

This policy is a plain-language draft prepared for the clinic's review. It has not been checked by a Nigerian lawyer and should be before the site accepts real payments; see also our Terms & Conditions.
